We are a private limited company in India and have recently leased a land, from the Government of India, containing iron ores.
The factors of the land include:
1)Area 350 Hectares
2)Land is still not mined and is fresh.
3)Government licences pending
4)Lease obtained from the Government of India.
5)Lease period is 20 years starting from October,2005 and is renewable after 20 years.
6) Total deposit available on 2500 mtr length (called strike length) & width- 500 mtrs for the length of 1000 mtrs only and 200 mtr for remaining 1500 mtrs
7) The iron ore deposit belt is situated in N-S direction.
8) Mining position is easy on this land because the deposit lies in the form of small hills. Also, the deposit side is open for mining, making the task more easier.
9) Total tonnage estimate is 40,000,000 MT
40% waste = 16,000,000 MT
60% Recoverable= 24,000,000 MT
10) The above recoverable figure is the proven deposit since height of the tallest hill present is 10 mtr.
11) Nearest distance from railway is 3 miles for goods train.Since our financial conditions do not permit us to do the mining of the land, we wish to transfer the lease to a worthy person at a premium rate or to find investors for this project, so that we can mine the land.
