Brief introduction
MPO (Multi-fiber Push On) is collectively referred to as MT series connectors. The ferrules of the MT series use two guide holes with a diameter of 0.7mm on the left and right sides of the ferrule end face for precise connection with the guide pin (also called PIN pin) , MPO can have 2~12 core designs, up to 24 cores, and 12 core connectors are currently the most used. The compact design of MPO makes it have a large number of cores and small size. It is widely used in the interconnection applications of FTTX, 40/100G SFP, SFP+ and other transceiver equipment in the environment where high-density integrated optical fiber lines are required during the wiring process. air return pressurization system used in ventilation ducts or air
handling equipment to comply with NFPA fire safety regulations.
