The Nova Sensor NPI series combines solid-state integration with diaphragm isolation technology. The diffused silicon chip is encapsulated in an oil-filled chamber and isolated from the measurement medium by a stainless steel diaphragm and housing, providing a cost-effective product.

As with all Nova Sensor silicon pressure sensors, the NPI series uses Senstable piezoresistive Sensor technology and a temperature compensation process. The temperature compensation resistance loop is fabricated on a mixed ceramic substrate. The minimum temperature error of 0.75%(Max) is provided in the temperature compensation range of 0~70 ° C.
