Description Of Cisco QSFP-100G-LR4-S Compatible Fiber Transceiver Module

The 100GBASE-LR4 transceiver is designed for use in 100 Gigabit Ethernet links on up to 10km over G.652 single mode fiber(SMF) via an industry standard LC connector.

The 100GBASE-LR4 transceiver consists of two sections: The transmitter section consists of four directly modulated Cooled LAN WDM 4-DFB lasers and four drivers.

It is compliant with the QSFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4 and IEEE 802.3bm CAUI-4. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA.

Each 100GBASE-LR4 optical transceiver is factory pre-programmed with all the necessary configuration data for seamless network integration and performs identically to genuine Cisco QSFP-100G-LR4-S transceivers, with excellent interoperation with Cisco QSFP28 port devices.
